We stumbled upon this place while we were on our road trip home. The place was clean, the frying fish and squid was crispy and tasty. The scenery was nice and the lady boss was very friendly. Recommended.

We ordered Mee Goreng, Ikan selayang and sotong celup tepung. Sedap and fish is so fresh! Sitting by the beach and enjoy the breeze. Will definitely visit here again!

Went first time on 2nd June 2025 at 5pm. Parking - ample parking. Park at the side of the shop. Atmosphere - sea breeze with stunning sea view. Food - ordered: i) 2 ikan pelaling celup tepung RM4/ekor - the batter was nice, light and crispy, not oily, i could eat the batter alone. ii) sotong celup tepung RM20/set, iii) laksa penang RM7 - thick broth sedap, terasa ikannya, mild pedas, paired with fresh limau nipis, just nice portion iv) nasi goreng ayam RM7 - nasi goreng orange colour with cubes of chicken and some vege. Rasa org tua dulu² masak. Service - despite many people came, food prepared was quick. Tak sempat layan laut and angin yg buat mengantuk. I want to recommend this place but i am afraid it will go viral and left us with no space. But at the same time i want this restaurant to be successful due to their good service nice spot, good food. How ah?

A simple kampong joint fronting the beach but serves awesome n cheap fried seafood..good kampong coffee too plus ABC N LCK..top class hospitality n service.Off the main road towards the beach..will come again

Warung Celup Tepung Embun Corner Food taste is very good — every dish is freshly fried and flavorful. The meal portion is well balanced with the price, making it really worth it. Must-try menu items are sotong celup tepung, fish, and prawn celup tepung — all crispy outside and juicy inside, easily the best around! The location offers a beautiful direct sea view, with calm kampung vibes that make the experience even better. Not too crowded, so it’s perfect for a relaxing meal. There’s easy side-road parking available and the service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended for seafood lovers looking for a peaceful seaside dining spot.
